Long lasting insulation from water seepage, low maintenance required if correctly treated.Made of a special type of rubber resistant to salt water and lubricating grease. The product is supplied with an AISI316 stainless steel clamp and specific lubricant for shaft line.Operation of the stuffing box is usually under the waterline, lubrication and cooling by water. In case of operation above or on the waterline, an external water cooling source is needed.Version A: brass hose adaptor for external lubrication by water (if not used, a brass closing cap is supplied) + greasing aperture with brass cap.Version B: no hose adaptor and greasing aperture.The kit includes: stuffing box + specific lubricant tube + instructions.
